The Institute of American Indian Studies in Washington will offer a variety of events in the coming weeks.

Offerings will include the annual green corn festival Aug. 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; “Albert’s Journey Home” Aug. 8 from 2 to 4 p.m.; “A Day in the 17th Century Woodlands” Aug. 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; an artifact identification day Sept. 27 from 1 to 4 p.m.; and a full moon evening hike Sept. 28 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

In addition, the “From the Earth and the Sea: Clam Bake and Drumming Fundraiser” will be held Sept. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Hot dogs, chips and lemonade will be available for children 12 and under.

Tickets are $50 for adults, $40 for IAIS members and $10 for children 12 and under.
