The Institute for American Indian Studies in Washington will hold its 10th annual Green Corn Festival Aug. 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Offerings will include music, dancing, food, storytelling and more.

Participants will include Native Nation Dancers Schaghticoke, Objiwa and Lumbee, dancing both Northern and Southern Traditional styles; dancers Albert Zamora, Mashantucket Pequot and Althnageebah Myles Dine, and storytellers Janis Us, Mohawk-Shinnecock descent, and Darlene Kascak Schaghticoke.

Admission to the event at the 38 Curtis Road museum is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $6 for children.
