Updated 10:00 pm, Sunday, November 18, 2012
The next meeting of the Washington History Club will be Nov. 19 at 10 a.m.
The discussion at the senior center in Bryan Memorial Plaza will focus on the diversity of Washington's population, including gender, race, income and country of origin, such as the immigrants from Ireland, Sweden and Germany.
Participants are asked to bring their photographs and objects that relate to this topic for show and tell.
Meetings will resume in January.
The club is open to anyone interested in the history of Washington and its villages of New Preston, Marble Dale and Woodville.
