The Merwinsville Hotel Restoration in Gaylordsville will hold a fall potluck supper Sept. 11 at 6 p.m.
Attendees are asked to bring a salad, a side dish or dessert to share at the historic hotel on Browns Forge Road.
A brief business meeting and a program with Pat Hare of Cornwall will follow.
Hare, a housing and transportation planner, has proposed a 45-mile HouBike Trail from New Milford to the Massachusetts line.
The route will run along Riverview Road, a short distance from the hotel.
He was also responsible for a greenway and bike trail in Washington, D.C., running from Union Station and the National Mall through nine miles of the national capital area out to Silver Spring, Md.
The public is invited.
