The Warren Land Trust and Warren Historical Society will co-sponsor a history hike at the land trust’s Coords Preserve Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The hike, which is part of the Housatonic Heritage Walks series, will be led by town historian Ellen Paul and Warren Land Trust Board member and orienteering expert Dave Schneiderbeck.

The two-hour, three-mile hike will showcase the natural and historical features of this preserve, including stone walls and cellar holes, hardwood forest, wetlands and a beaver pond.

Hikers are encouraged to wear sturdy footwear, and bring a water bottle. Trail mix will be provided.

To get to the preserve from the center of town, take Route 341/45 south for 0.9 mile; turn left onto Town Hill Road and drive 0.9 mile; and turn right onto Angevine Road for 0.1 mile and park.
