The First Congregational Church of Kent on Route 7 North will hold its 45th annual Harvest Fair Oct. 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Offerings will include a "Fran's Attic" tag sale, the sale of general and holiday crafts, exhibits, the sale of homemade baked gods, jams, jellies and vegetables, a silent auction, a penny auction for children, food at Aunt Polly's Kitchen, a handmade quilt raffle, a children's petting zoo, private vendors, fire truck rides and more.

Following the fair, a family-friendly movie night under the stars -- weather permitting -- will be held 7 p.m. In case of rain, the movie will be shown indoors.
