Gunn Memorial Library in Washington will offer a variety of events in the coming days.

Les Julian will perform an interactive family concert, "We All Laugh in the Same Language," Dec. 29 at 4:30 p.m.

Mr. Julian is an award-winning recording artist who performs on nylon string and electric guitars, as well as mandolin and percussion.

The event will be followed by a reception and viewing of "The Magical Christmas Horse" holiday exhibit at the museum next to the library.

Wykeham Consort members will perform an evening of music featuring English and Spanish Christmas songs of the Renaissance Jan. 5 at 6:30 p.m.

Members will include Matilda Giampietro, Erica Warnock, Sarah Jane Chelminski and Andrew Lafreniere.

Hicks Stone, son of 20th century architect Edward Durell Stone, will present a program Jan. 19 at 6:30 p.m.

Mr. Stone, founder and principal of Stone Architecture, LLC in New York City and Roxbury, is the author of "Edward Durell Stone: A Son's Untold Story of a Legandary Architect."

In the biography, Mr. Stone writes candidly about his father's career, relationships, and professional and personal struggles.

Among the iconic projects for which Mr. Stone is responsible are The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
