Gunn Memorial Library and Museum in Washington will present “Nell’s Magic World,” a free program focusing on the career of Nell Dorr, who holds a special place in the history of photography, Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Alexandra Nicholis Coon, executive director of the Massillon Museum in Massillon, Ohio, will lead the program at the Wykeham Road library.

The presentation will cover Dorr’s career from Massillon to the Mangroves of the Florida Keys and beyond.

Referencing images from the Gunn Museum's exhibition, “Between Two Worlds: The Photography of Nell Dorr,” the presentation will show how Dorr used photography to create a poetic and personal visual language.

A reception will follow at the museum next door, where visitors can view the “Between Two Worlds” exhibit,” until 8 p.m.
