New Milford VNA & Hospice will offer a series of informational meetings at its Caregivers Support Group this spring.

Meetings will be at the New Milford Senior Center at 40 Main St.

Shari Gold, a sales representative from Lincare, will lead "All About Medical Equipment" March 18 at 10 a.m.

Gold will explain how medical equipment is ordered, maintenance of COPD equipment and information on INR testing.

Lunch will be provided after the presentation.

Gus Thanasoulis, of VNA Home, Inc., will lead "Why Do I Need Home Care Services?" April 15 at 10 a.m.

Thanasoulis will speak about the services offered by VNA Home, which can enable people to stay in their own homes.

Claudette Sesera, Lifetime program coordinator for New Milford Visiting Nurse & Hospice, will be the guest speaker May 20 at 10 a.m.

Sesera will discuss the importance of getting help in the home after a fall or sudden illness, and how the Lifeline equipment works to ensure peace of mind for older adults and their families when she addresses the topic of "Why Should I consider the Lifeline Program for Myself or my Loved One?"

The Caregiver Support Group is facilitated by Catherine Vlasto, a New Milford VNA & Hospice social worker.

All caregivers are invited to attend meetings, which take place on the first and third Tuesdays of every month at the New Milford Senior Center.
