Grateful to Kent community

To the Editor:
As the school year comes to a close, we are truly overwhelmed by the continued support of the Kent community for the Kent Community Nursery School.
KCNS has been blessed this year by several local businesses who have provided various goods and services.
Our family dinner night on May 4 was no different. Thank you to everyone who attended at the Villager Restaurant in Kent. It was a resounding success. Everyone enjoyed a night of family fun, community and delicious Mexican cuisine.
We are grateful for the generous support of Antonio and GJ Hernandez, Axel Benitez, Omar Perez, Fortino Hernandez and Marc Hernandez and the staff of the Villager Restaurant who donated their time and resources for the event.
Thanks also to the hardworking KCNS parents, board and teacher volunteers who staffed the event, including Terese Abbott, Kristy Bloom, Joy Matthews, Gerry Moerschell, Kevin Saxton, Sue Vizzarri and Debra Van Keuren.
From all of us at KCNS, we thank The Spectrum for its continued support, as well as our community.
It's during these tough economic times we are reminded how truly lucky we are to live in such a remarkable community by having our most successful fundraising year to date.
It would not have been possible without the amazing community support.
