Gail M. Picchione, 67, of New Milford, died at her home Aug. 30. She was the wife of Dominick Picchione.

Mrs. Picchione was born March 5, 1945, in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., daughter of the late Donald and Gloria Parker Shelley.

She was employed as a seamstress at the Upholstery Shed in New Milford for 32 years, retiring in 2012.

She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in New Milford.

In addition to her husband of 49 years, Mrs. Picchione is survived by two sons, Dominick Picchione Jr. and his wife, Deb, and Stephen Picchione; a daughter, Gloria Snodgrass and her husband, Fred; a sister, Judith Simpson; and four grandchildren, Korey and Tyler Snodgrass and Dominick III and Anthony Picchione.

The Lillis Funeral Home in New Milford was in charge of arrangements.

Burial was at St. Francis Cemetery in New Milford.
