Feliciana Valenti, 96, went to Faith Church

She was born in New York City, a daughter of Vito and Teodora DiGiacomo. She lived in Brooklyn most of her life before moving to Danbury.
She loved cooking, housework and sewing.
Mrs. Valenti was a faithful member of Faith Church in New Milford, where she was known for playing her tambourine and sharing her smile with everyone.
If anyone asked her how she was, she said, "Better than you" or "Everything is beautiful."
Mrs. Valenti is survived by three children and their spouses, Elizabeth Valenti, of Brooklyn, N.Y., Frances and Thomas DeChirico, of Brooklyn, and Doris and Richard Cartolano, of Danbury; three grandchildren, Christine, Thomas Jr. and Steven DeChirico; one great-grandchild, Gabrielle; four step grandchildren; and six step greatgrandchildren.
Interment was in St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens, N.Y.
A celebration of life will be held Jan. 5 at 10 a.m. at Faith Church, 600 Danbury Road, New Milford.
The Green Funeral Home in Danbury was in charge of arrangements.
