To the Editor:
When you want to take a scenic stroll, fast walk, run, bike ride, host an event in the outdoors, where should you go?
Where can you enjoy a peaceful environment and see a waterfall on the Still River?
Harrybrooke Park in New Milford should be your destination.
The only source of funding is made possible by several events held yearly.
These events have made to it possible bring back the splendor Harrybrooke once was. The gardens are spectacular. The transformation of the Harden house has begun, room by room.
The talents of many and the donations of countless individuals and organizations have accomplished this.
Because of the love for this park, the volunteers have transformed the grounds for all those who enter to experience and enjoy.
Harrybrooke Park is truly one of the real gems of New Milford. Hopefully, with the help of many, this park will be preserved for future generations.
There is still much that needs to be done.
