Family event on tap in Sherman

The Sherman School SPTO will sponsor a Sept. 8 family event, including a movie under the stars.

In case of inclement weather, the concert, movie and silent auction would be held inside the school.

Offerings will include popcorn, hot dogs, a pre-movie concert, a silent auction and a screening of "The Lorax."

Festivities will be held at the school's playground on Route 37 East.

Admission is $5 per person, or $20 per family. Proceeds will benefit the fourth-grade class trip to Washington, D.C.
