Event to feature clay artwork

The Connecticut Clay Artists will present its 14th annual show and sale Aug. 16-18.
The event will kick off with a reception with the artists Aug. 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. and continue with the show and sale Aug. 17-18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the Jewish Community Center in Sherman at 9 Route 39 South.
CCA work includes professionally handbuilt, wheel thrown and sculpted art made from stoneware, porcelain and earthenware.
A "seconds" area will be featured.
Members of Connecticut Clay Artists include Paula Sibrack Marian, of Sherman, Annette Morasco Marcus, of Brookfield, Stephen Becroft, Paula Cook, Katie Tynan Helu and Peggy Thomas, of Ridgefield, Sue Ann Heller, of Southport, Sarah Koster, of New York City, and Rosalind Liljengren, Karen Pinto and Joan Zagrobeiny, of Newtown.
