The Sherman Chamber Ensemble will present a concert Aug. 9-10 at 8 p.m. in Kent and Sherman, respectively.

The program at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church at the corner of Routes 7 and 341 in Kent and Lake Mauweehoo Clubhouse on Leach Hollow Road in Sherman will feature a program of music for strings and flute, including a Serenade for two violins and viola by Kodaly, the Haydn "Surprise" Symphony No. 94 arranged for flute and string quartet, and Verdi's String Quartet in E Minor.

Performers will include Jill Levy and Carmit Zori on violin, Daniel Panner on viola, Eliot Bailen on cello and Susan Rotholz on flute.

Performances will be followed by a reception with the artists.

Admission is $30 at the door and $25 for students and seniors.
