Elizabeth Wyant, 64, lived in New Milford

Elizabeth (McAlley) Wyant, 64, of New Milford, died July 4 at home with her family by her side. She was the widow of Irving (Butch) Wyant.

Mrs. Wyant was born and raised in New Milford, daughter of the late Robert and Annetta (McBath) McAlley.

She is survived by a son, Dwayne Wyant; a daughter, Doreen (Wyant) Shrack; a son-in-law, David Shrack; a granddaughter, Shelby Elizabeth Shrack; two sisters, Nancy Schiels and Annetta Volinski; two brothers-in-law, William Schiels and Harry Volinski; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Frederick McAlley, and a sister, Gladys (McAlley) McHann.
