Dorothy O'Keefe, 95, had worked at Conn's Dairy

Dorothy (O'Toole) O'Keefe, 95, died May 25, at Candlewood Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in New Milford. She was the widow of John J. O'Keefe.
Mrs. O'Keefe was born Nov. 9, 1915, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Elizabeth (Hansen) and Albert O'Toole.
She worked in various area restaurants until 1959 when she and her family relocated to New Milford, where she worked at Conn's Dairy for many years.
Upon returning to Waterbury in 1985, she continued to work in restaurants in the east end of Waterbury.
Mrs. O'Keefe enjoyed playing cards with her friends and fellow residents at 119 Store Ave. and 44 Center St.
Her love of music always filled her home.
Mrs. O'Keefe is survived by two sons, Robert O'Keefe, and his wife, Katherine Webster-O'Keefe, of New Preston, and John D. O'Keefe, and his wife, Joan, of Jupiter Fla.; six grandchildren, Joanne (O'Keefe) Miller, and her husband, Mitchell, Cheryl (O'Keefe) McPhail, John D. O'Keefe Jr., Shawn O'Keefe, Emily O'Keefe, and Megan O'Keefe; five great-grandchildren, Zachary and Jacob Miller, Barry McPhail Jr. and Caroline and Quinn O'Keefe; a sister, Loretta Accetura, of Bristol; a sister-in-law, Nora Theresa O'Toole, of Waterbury; and a niece and a nephew. She was predeceased by a brother, Leo O'Toole.
There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
The Murphy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
