Donations sought for ASAP sale

The After School Arts Program based in Washington, which serves northwest Connecticut, is seeking donations for its annual tag sale.
The sale will be held Aug. 17 from 11 a.m. to
4 p.m. and Aug. 18-19 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 92 Bee Brook Road (Route 47) in Washington.
Items of particular interest include antiques and collectibles; small to medium-sized furniture; rugs; gold and silver jewelry; costume jewelry; designer clothing and accessories such as scarves and handbags; garden and household items in very good condition; coffee table books, and newer fiction and non-fiction books; lamps; nearly new linens; any brand-new items (with labels on them); platters, serving pieces, serving utensils, silverware; pottery; vases; craft items; candlesticks; and more.
Items that are stained, dirty, broken, chipped or torn will not be accepted.
Donations may be delivered Aug. 13 from 3 to 5 p.m. to 92 Bee Brook Road or by appointment by calling Deb Forese at 860-248-1840 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tax receipts will be provided.
