To the Editor:
Joe Mustich writes glowingly of the "rural and retreat-like character" of Mr. Klauer`s latest plan for the Wykeham ruin.
Now (planned to be) a hotel again, the first view from the road would be an 83-car parking lot crowned by a 25,000 square foot building, three stories high with another underground.
This is the size of the Stop & Shop in Litchfield. If placed in the Depot, it would stretch from the banks to Washington Supply.
I won't mention the problem with the water supply.
In a small town, we are all neighbors of this property and we`ve watched the total lack of stewardship over this once lovely hillside. It does not bode well for our shared future.
