Clay artists to hold show, sale

The Connecticut Clay Artists will open its 17th annual show and sale Saturday with a wine and cheese opening reception from 4 to 7 p.m. in New Milford.
The opening coincides with the New Milford Art Walk.
The show will be open Fridays through Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. through Aug. 27 at Gallery 25 at the railroad station on Railroad Street.
CCA work includes professionally hand-built, wheel- thrown and sculpted art made from stoneware, porcelain and earthenware.
Clay pieces in this show are functional and decorative.
A signature of CCA is their collaborative artwork, done during their monthly workshops.
Participating members include Paula Sibrack Marian, of Sherman; Paula Cook and Katie Tynan Helu, both of Ridgefield; Rosalind Lilengren, Roberta Ahuja and Karen Pinto, all of Newtown, and Sue Ann Heller, of Fairfield
