Claudia Palmer Armstrong, 75, of New Milford, died Sept. 2 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Andrew Armstrong, to whom she was married for 35 years.

She was born Jan. 30,1937, the daughter of the late Albert and Eleanor Palmer.

Mrs. Armstrong had recently retired from Cramer & Anderson LLP, where she had worked for 35 years.

She enjoyed golfing, reading, renovating her home, gardening and many artistic pursuits, including sketching and working with stained glass.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Armstrong is survived by five children, Linda Easterbrook and her husband, George, of Bantam; Patricia Humiston and her husband, Curt, of Raleigh, N.C.; Stark Weiner and his wife, Lisa, of New Preston; Craig Weiner and his wife, Jennifer, of Goshen; and Keith Weiner, of Alameda, Calif.; a brother, Bruce Palmer, of Southbury, and his family; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The Lillis Funeral Home in New Milford was in charge of arrangements.
