The Washington Republican Town Committee will host its annual Chocolate Fest March 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Festivities will take place at the American Legion Hall in Bryan Plaza.

Patrons will be invited to fill a plate with chocolate treats, including cookies, brownies, candies and strawberries.

Admission is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children.

In addition, attendees will be invited to guess the number of M&Ms in a jar.

Door prizes will be offered.

While the event is a fundraiser for the town’s Republican Town Committee, a percentage of the profits will be donated back to the town.

In the past, funds have supported the Community Fund, the Fuel Bank, new flags for town hall, the new rocking chairs in front of the Legion Hall and other programs.

Tickets are available at the door and/or from any member of the Washington Town Committee.

They will also be sold March 21 in and around the Depot.
