New Milford Public Library will present a program with a free workshop on using the Census to the best advantage in researching one's family tree July 17 at 6:30 p.m.

Jolene Mullen, a professional researcher specializing in lineage research for heritage societies, and who works in Connecticut and the eastern counties of New York, in the New York and Connecticut state libraries/archives, and other repositories and states as necessary, will lead the program at the Main Street library.
