The lively, comedic musical "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum" will be presented this weekend by a cast of Canterbury School students in New Milford.

Stagings of Stephen Sondheim's 1962 Broadway hit takes place Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.

Doors will open at Maguire Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. and will be first come, first served. There is no charge to view the performance.

Logan Pettinato of Sherman will perform the lead role of Pseudolus.

He will be supported by a cast featuring Greater New Milford-area thespians Joe Najm, of New Milford, as Miles Gloriosus; Hayley Pettinato, of Sherman, as Philia; Brieannna Brown as Gymnasia; Ally LaVigne as Panacea; Alice Bouchard, of New Milford, as one of the Aquari twins; Oliver Martinez, of South Kent, as a soldier and Sam Portelance, of New Milford, as one of the Proteans.

Other cast members include K.J. Ebner, of Harwinton ,as Senex; Siobhan Manrique, of Tuba City, Ariz., as Domina; Tom Harrison, of Newtown, as Hero; Corey Salatino, of Utica, N.Y., as Erronius; Mike Balcom, of Granby, as both Marcus Lycus and a Protean; Stacie DeGrazia, of Brookfield, as Tintinablua; Zach Hutton, of Redding, as Hysterium; Christina Jenkins, of New Fairfield, as Vibrata; Clara Barnett, of Brookfield, as the other Aquari twin; Yoojin Choi, of Korea, and Kacey Marra, of Woodbury, as the Geminae; Harry McDowell, of Wilton, and Sean Owens as Proteans; Andres Duren Ballen, of Ecuador, Joe Goldbloom, of Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y., Peter Bergner, of Fairfield, and Brian Lamuraglia of Mahwah, N.J., as soldiers.
