To the Editor:
A recent writer should understand the raised crossings on Main Street in New Milford are what is known in the business as "traffic-calming measures."
They are designed to encourage citizens to vent their displeasure in the local newspaper rather than perhaps on a hapless pedestrian waiting to cross the road.
Further, I would like to invite your correspondent to take advantage of the excellent tennis instruction available on the so-disparaged Young's Field tennis courts.
