Burnham Library will offer a variety of events in the coming weeks.

Book Group will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 27, featuring a discussion of “A Man Called Ove” by Frederick Backman, and April 17, featuring a discussion of “The Secret Chord” by Geraldine Brooks.

The Friends of the Library will hold meetings March 8 and April 12 at 7 p.m.

Works by Walter VonEgidy of Bridgewater will be on display through March and an exhibit, “All Around Litchfield,” featuring works by Lorraine Ryan of New Milford, will be displayed in April, with an opening reception April 1 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Town Tabletop Club, featuring an evening of board games, is held Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.

Teens and adults are invited to attend.

The program is offered at New Milford Public Library the first two Wednesdays of each month and the last two Wednesdays of each month at Burnham Library.

Children’s programs will include “Dr. Seuss is on the Loose” March 4 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.; teen do-it-yourself “Build a PC” for kids in grades eight and up April 12 from 1 to 3 p.m.; drop-in storytime for kids ages 2 to 5 April 13 from 10:30 to 11 a.m.; a playdate at the library for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade April 13 from 1 to 3 p.m.; Burnham Bunch Storytime for kids ages 2 to 5 Thursdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m. through May 26; Burnham Girls for girls in grades three through five March 15, April 26, May 17 from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.; Minecraft Club for kids in grades three through five March 1, April 5 and May 3 from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.; MakerLAB for kids in grades three to five March 8, April 19 and May 10 from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m.; LEGO Brick Builders for kids in kindergarten through grade five March 2, April 6 and May 4 from 3:30 to 4 p.m.; and Project Play for kids in kindergarten through second grade March 9, April 20 and May 11 from 3:30 to 4 p.m.

Patrons are invited to use the library’s digital services, including RB Digital and Hoopla.
