Washington Montessori School will present an evening with Chris Brigham, executive producer of "Argo," April 19.

The evening will include a screening of "Argo" at 7 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session with Brigham, led by Jack Gilpin, at 9 p.m. and a reception at 9:45 p.m., all at the 240 Litchfield Turnpike (Route 202) school.

The film, starring Ben Affleck, John Goodman and Alan Arkin, is a dramatic thriller based on the true story of the rescue of six U.S. diplomats during the 1979 Iran hostage crisis.

Both Brigham and Gilpin are parents of children who graduated from the Washington Montessori School and are Roxbury residents.

The event is a fundraiser for the Washington Montessori School, a non-profit day school for students 18 months through eighth grade.

Tickets are $30 per person for the screening and question-and-answer session; $50 for the screening, the question and answer session and the reception; and $10 for middle and high school students.
