The New Milford Historical Society & Museum will present a homemade body scrub workshop by the Grounded Goodwife Jan. 26 at 7 p.m.
The acclaimed herbalist daughter/historian and mother duo, Ehris Urban and Velya Jancz Urban, will lead the interactive historic and herbal workshop
Participants will learn how to create and bring home two eight-ounce body scrubs: lemon sugar scrub and cinnamon coffee scrub. Lemon is ideal for treating a dull complexion, aging skin, and pigmentation.
The caffeine in coffee works as a vasodilator and will tighten the surface of the skin, making one’s skin firmer.
