Bernadette M. Schullery, 75, of Kent, died June 5 at home. She was the wife of Edward Schullery for 51 years.

Mrs. Schullery was born Sept. 20, 1936, in Danbury, daughter of the late J. Raymond and Bernadette (Conway) Ward.

She was the assistant town clerk at Danbury Town Hall for 25 years.

Mrs. Schullery loved working outside, gardening and traveling. She loved spending time at her grandchildren's sporting events. Her family always came first.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Bernadette Kohut, and her husband, Richard, and Patricia-Ann Corso, and her husband, Mark, all of New Milford; Edward Schullery, and his wife, Susan, of South Kent; and James Schullery, and his wife, Virginia, of Warren; eight grandchildren, Mackenzie Margaret, Madison and Jack Corso, Zachary, Gillian, Seth, Christopher and Courtney Schullery; a brother, Edward Ward; and several nieces and nephews.

The Cornell Memorial Home of Danbury was in charge of arrangements.
