Bereavement group on tap

The First Congregational Church on the Green in Washington will host a six-week bereavement group starting Feb. 27.

The group, which will meet Wednesdays at 10 a.m. at the church, will be educational and supportive for those mourning the loss of a loved one and for anyone dealing with grief.

Chaplain Anne-Marie Davenport, M.Div., a spiritual and bereavement coordinator for hospice and a minister at the FCC, will lead the group.
