Bell ringing set at Kent museum

The Sloane-Stanley Museum in Kent will be open July 4 to host a special bell ringing event.

The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the bell ringing at 2 p.m.

Patriotic activity sheets will be available for children. The museum at 31 Kent-Cornwall Road (Route 7 North) is normally open Fridays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be closed July 2.

Regular admission is $8, $6 for senior citizens and $5 for children 6 to 17.
