Corey Smith, owner of trainwithsmith in New Milford, has expanded her business and moved it to a new location.

The studio has moved from Bennitt Street to 461 Danbury Road (Route 7 South).

An open house is planned for June 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the new location.

The new site will feature more than 2,000 square feet of space with a larger training area, a group exercise room and changing rooms.

Certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association to offer personal training services, trainwithsmith was also the first to obtain Les Mills licensure as an individual.

The studio will offer personal training, as well as Les Mills Body Combat, Body Pump and Sh'bam and more.

Union Savings Bank has announced the promotion of Richard Fink of New Milford to vice president, small business lender.

Previously, Mr. Fink was the assistant vice president of small business lending.

He brings more than six years of experience to this position, in which he develops and manages small business account relationships.

Mr. Fink graduated from the National School of Banking at Fairfield University in 1993.

He serves on the board of directors for WeCAHR, a nonprofit organization committed to helping children and adults with disabilities in the Greater Danbury area live safe, independent lives.

Union Savings Bank will host a Community Shred Day June 9 from 9 a.m. to noon at its 13 North St., Litchfield, and 126 North St., Danbury, locations.

Members of the community are invited to bring up to 10 boxes of any type of paper to be shredded safely and securely.

For the sixth of the past eight years, financial services firm Edward Jones, which has an office in New Milford, has been ranked highest in investor satisfaction with full-service brokerage firms, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2012 Full Service Investor Satisfaction Study.

The study measures overall investor satisfaction with full service investment firms based on seven factors: investment adviser, investment performance, account information, account offerings, commissions and fees, website and problem resolution.

Clothing for men, women and children will be available at $8 per bag.

Donations of gently-used clothing and household items may be brought to the shop during business hours or to the VNA Northwest, 607 Bantam Road, Unit F, Bantam, Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
