Authors to visit Kent library

Kent Memorial Library will present two book signings in the coming weeks.

Nan Parson Rossiter, of New Milford, will sign copies of her books, "The Fo'c'sle Henry Beston's Outermost House," "The Gin & Chowder Club" and "Words Get in the Way," and read from "Fo'c'sle" Aug. 18 from 3 to 5 p.m.

A wine and cheese reception will follow the program, and copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.

Warren author Francine du Plessix Gray will discuss and sign copies of her book "The Queen's Lover" Aug. 25 from 3 to 5 p.m. A reception will follow.
