Auditions set for ‘Allergist’s Wife’

TheatreWorks New Milford will hold auditions Feb. 22-23 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for its upcoming production of “The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife.”
A cast of two men ages 20 to 60 and three women ages 40 to 80 is sought for the Tony Award-nominated comedy by Charles Busch.
Debbie Levin, of Brewster, N.Y., is the director.
Rehearsals will begin in March, with performances set for April 29 through May 21.
Actors do not have to be the ages listed but must be able to believably play within the ranges specified.
Auditions will consist of reading from the script.
All roles are available and both professionals, and amateurs are welcome.
TheatreWorks offers a stipend to all performers, technicians, and directors.
The theater is located at 5 Brookside Ave., but parking is available behind the Catherine E. Lillis Administration Building off East Street.
