Arthur Piazza, 53, had family locally

Arthur Crowley Piazza, 53, of Boston, formerly of New Fairfield, died Sept. 4 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Worcester, Mass.

Mr. Piazza was born May 2, 1959, in North Tarrytown, N.Y., the son of the late Harold and Joan (Crowley) Piazza.

He was a graduate of New Fairfield High School and the University of Connecticut.

Mr. Piazza is survived by his two sons, Patrick and Liam Piazza, of Belchertown, Mass.; and the sons' mother, Theresa Murphy; a brother, Jim Piazza, of New Fairfield; three sisters, Jane Springer, of South Salem, N.Y., Debbie MacCarry and her husband, Noel, of Danbury, and Margaret Plevka and her husband, Peter, of New Milford; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial was in the Gerow Cemetery, New Fairfield.

The Green Funeral Home in Danbury was in charge of arrangements.
