The Eric Sloane Museum and the Friends of the Eric Sloane Museum in Kent are seeking entries for its "The World Above: Artists Celebrate the Sky" exhibit.

The exhibit will run July 26 through Aug. 3 at the 31 Kent-Cornwall Road (Route 7) museum, with an opening reception July 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Residents of the New Milford area of all skill levels may create and submit art related to the clouds, sky, weather or aviation in any medium.

Prizes will be awarded for professional artist, non-professional artist and entrants under 18.

Participants may choose to have their artwork sold to the general public, with 20 percent of the proceeds to benefit the Eric Sloane Museum.

Art should be delivered to the museum July 17-25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and a form completed with a description of the materials used, their name and the title of the piece.

There is a limit of five entries per person.

Artwork may be picked up Aug. 3-10.
