Appreciates support of village fair, firefighters

To the Editor:

The members of Water Witch Hose Co. No. 2 fire department wish to thank all those who helped make this year's participation in New Milford's Village Fair Days a success.

As in years past, your support is key toward a successful two days.

I must compliment all of these people and organizations on their tireless efforts before, during and after the fair, specifically Layton Fuel, Brownie's Towing, the New Milford Village Fair Days committee, all our suppliers and the town of New Milford, especially the police department, without whose help we could never complete the annual "walking of the tent" back to the firehouse.

It is people, organizations and companies like these that set the standard for all to follow and make New Milford such a nice place to live and do business.
