Antonina Zoda, 101, had been in sales

Antonina C. (Bonfiglio) Zoda, 101, of New Milford, formerly of Yonkers, N.Y., died Oct. 24 at the Village Crest Center for Health and Rehabilitation in New Milford.

She was born Nov. 5, 1910, to Vincenzo and Maria Mostacchio Bonfiglio in Bauxite, Ark., and was raised and educated in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Mrs. Zoda was a salesperson for Genung's Department Store in Yonkers for 10 years.

She enjoyed cooking and sewing.

On Feb. 7, 1937, she married Joseph P. Zoda in Brooklyn. Mr. Zoda died in January 1980.

Mrs. Zoda is survived by her sons, Vincent L. Zoda, and his wife, Jennie, of New Milford; and John Zoda, and his wife, Janet, of Florida; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Joseph P. Zoda Jr.; a granddaughter, Tina Marie Zoda; two brothers; and three sisters.

Entombment was in Ferncliff Cemetery in New York.
