The After School Arts Program, based in Washington, is accepting registration for inter-district dance and percussion projects.

The program, open to students in grades 6 to 12, will begin Jan. 2.

The dance company Pilobolus and master percussionist John Marshall will lead the workshops, respectively, at the Waterbury Arts Magnet School.

The workshops will meet Wednesdays through Fridays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. through Jan. 31.

The project will culminate in Feb. 1 performances at several schools.

Transportation will be provided from Shepaug Valley High School in Washington at 2:30 p.m. and return at 6:15 p.m. and from Woodbury and Memorial Middle School in Woodbury at 2:50 p.m. and return at 6 p.m.

The fee is $126 for Region 12 students and $154 for non-Region 12 students.
