Thanks to a collaboration among the After School Arts Program, New Opportunities and the Torrington Police Athletic League, 25 low-income children will have the opportunity to attend the widely recognized ASAP summer camp in Washington. The partnership will allow the children to experience art and creative thinking under the instruction of professional teaching artists.

Summer camp costs $650 for a two-week session and $550 for the CIT program.

ASAP has already raised half the funds needed and is now collecting donations for the remaining tuition.
