The New Milford VNA is encouraging parents to have their children vaccinated against the flu.
Some pharmacies in town are out of vaccine, but RiteAid still has a small amount of vaccine in supply.
The VNA has vaccine for children aged 6 months to 18 years of age, said Geri Rodda, the New Milford VNA's community health coordinator.
"According to FluView report, the incidents of influenza remain elevated in most of the country," Ms. Rodda said. "We strongly advocate that children get vaccinated. Flu season doesn't peak until some time in February."
