The Silo at Hunt Hill Farm Trust in the Northville section of New Milford will offer a variety of programs in coming weeks.

A variety of classes will be offered at the cooking school.

A watercolor journaling en plein air, weather permitting, workshop with Diane Dubreuil of New Milford will be held Oct. 9 from noon to 4 p.m.

The cost is $75.

Art by illustrator Barry Blitt, paintings by Keith Hatcher and photographs by John Kane are on display through Oct. 16, when the show will end with an artist's talk at 2 p.m.

An exhibit, "Interiors and Exteriors, from the Past to the Present," featuring acrylics by Faith Stewart Gordon, will be displayed Oct. 21 through Nov. 6, ending with an artist's talk at 2 p.m.

A reception will be held Oct. 21 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Paranormal professional investigator John Zontok and professional photographer Bob Mills will present a program about the Northwest Connecticut Paranormal Society Oct. 30 from 4 to 6 p.m.

The guest speakers will discuss local haunting and answer questions.

Admission is $10 in advance and $15 at the door.

The program is suitable for children 12 and older.

The Silo, located at 44 Upland Road, is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
