Route 37 closed until Friday afternoon

The New Milford section of Route 37 to the Sherman line will be closed for line repair Friday, Nov. 2 until 2 p.m. to repair damage from Hurricane Sandy.

New Milford police officers and state police are located in their respective towns diverting traffic and assisting motorists.

Signs are placed to alert motorists of the road closure and alternate routes.
