Power outage hits Kent, part of New Milford

A Monday morning power outage has affected 2,008 Connecticut Light & Power customers in Kent and 847 customers in New Milford.

The outage is the result of "an issue" in the substation at Bull's Bridge near the Kent/New Milford town line, according to Mitch Gross, CL & P spokesman.

Power is expected to be restored by early afternoon, Mr. Gross said.
