Towns in the New Milford area are reporting Monday morning that plowing and salting and sanding crews are on target.
In Roxbury, main paved roads are in good condition while dirt roads in the town remained icy as of 10 a.m., First Selectman Barbara Henry said. However, crews were working on those roads.
In Sherman, First Selectman Clay Cope said town roads were salted and sanded by crews throughout the morning.
State routes through town, Routes 37 and 39, were reported to be "slushy," and drivers there should be cautious, Cope said.
