Long Mountain bridge closed temporarily

One lane of the bridge on Long Mountain Road in the Gaylordsville district of New Milford, near the intersection with South Kent Road, has been opened for motor vehicle traffic.

Motorists are asked to use caution and look for oncoming vehicles while passing over the bridge.

The bridge had been closed Sept. 18 for repairs following an auto accident.
