Event to kick off Chapin campaign

State Rep. Clark Chapin, R-67, a candidate for the 30th District state senate seat, will host a kickoff event Monday at 5 p.m. at Tivoli Restaurant, 7 Main St. in New Milford.

Suggested ticket price is $35.

Rep. Chapin, who secured the unanimous endorsement at a districtwide convention last month, said he is looking forward to campaigning in all 14 towns in the district.

Monday's event will be the first for his campaign; another is being planned in the Torrington area.
