Culinary school receives funds

The Community Culinary School of Northwestern Connecticut is the beneficiary of proceeds from the New Milford Spirit Shoppe's annual fall wine tasting.

Proceeds totaling $6,687 will support the school's mission to qualify unemployed and underemployed individuals for jobs in the food service industry, while providing food to the community's needy.
