State Rep. Clark Chapin, R-67, has received the support of the National Federation of Independent Business Connecticut SAFE-Trust (Save America's Free Enterprise) in his campaign for the 30th state Senatorial District seat.

NFIB is Connecticut's and the nation's leading small business association.

Founded in 1943 as a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, NFIB gives small and independent business owners a voice in shaping the public policy issues that affect their businesses.

"Clark's voting record on key issues important to small business demonstrates his commitment to the needs of thousands of Main Street small businesses and their employees across Connecticut," said Andy Markowski, state director of NFIB/Connecticut.

"I'm grateful for NFIB's endorsement and I am committed to continuing to support policies that benefit small and independent businesses in Northwest Connecticut," Rep. Chapin said.
